Earth In 4K–UHD Video From International Space Station


Life on-board the International Space Station is shown in Ultra High Definition video. The views of the planet from the window is in high resolution, taken from outer-space 400 Kilometers above the earth.

It shows life of astronauts as they carry out experiments in full 4K Ultra High-Definition (UHD) video. It also shows them eating tacos high above the earth. The view of the earth shows the vast oceans with what appears to be the sea of plastic waste in the Pacific ocean. It also shows a gigantic hurricane engulfing part of the planet. The video gives an astronaut’s view of planet earth.

The view of life in space is getting a major boost with the introduction of 4K Ultra High-Definition (UHD) video, providing an unprecedented look at what it’s like to live and work aboard the International Space Station. This important new capability will allow researchers to acquire high resolution – high frame rate video to provide new insight into the vast array of experiments taking place every day.
